Reproductive Justice Teach-In

Date:
May 16, 2022
Time:
5:30-7:00 p.m. PT
Place:
Zoom (Virtual)

We are excited to have you join the next teach-in of UCSF REPAIR’s education series, Manifesting Medical Abolition: a conversation about Reproductive Justice. This discussion will feature Dr. Toni M. Bond, a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco and former Board Director of SisterSong, a founding reproductive justice collective, in conversation with BeKura Shabazz, an activist for over two decades in areas of criminal injustice and child welfare reform, a founder and President of First Alliance Consulting LLC, The Criminal Injustice Reform Network and Families Against Mandatory Minimums.

At a time when reproductive justice is being actively threatened by a pending national abortion ban and anti-abortion legislation in many U.S. states, we hope you’ll join us to learn about connections between the abolition of carceral regimes in medicine and reproductive justice for marginalized communities.
